Frequently asked questions
X Pro S or X Carbon: which should I choose?
The X Carbon, for most buyers: same price, same 800 W, and two batteries (21.7 miles combined) instead of one (10.9 miles).
The Pro S makes sense if you want the newest platform, with its reworked chassis and harness. Both were priced the same on Oct 1, 2026.
Can I still buy the original X Pro in the US?
Not from Hypershell’s US store: it did not list the X Pro or the X Go on Oct 1, 2026.
The X Pro S and the X Carbon are the 800 W models it sells there.
Alternatives
Hypershell X Carbon
800 W, two batteries, a carbon frame, GORE-TEX fabric and titanium hip levers, all at the price of the one-battery X Pro S.
Dnsys X1
Hypershell's direct rival: 900 W and 40 N·m for $110 less than the X Carbon. In real use, range and strap comfort fall behind.
Hypershell X Ultra
Our top pick: 1,000 W, two 18.6-mile batteries and a carbon frame, for $600 less than the X Ultra S, which has the same power and range.
